Transformation, strategy and leadership professional, experienced in leading enterprise business units, SME organisations and start-ups, both domestically and internationally.  Driving business re-invention, and implementing innovative solutions.  With a wide range of capabilities across business leadership, management and technology.

But that's now.  How did I get here?

My early career was focused in the field of data communications, where I progressed to lead the design and projects on mission critical networks for some of the UK's biggest mobile phone operators.  Widening my sphere to include all infrastructure technologies, office automation and data processing, I began to lead the technology elements of change and transformation programmes.

Given a wonderful opportunity I thrived and transitioned through technical and business consulting , through  managing a team and on to lead large departments and small businesses.  With a broader and deeper understanding of business and technology, especially the relationship of them, I was leading strategy and strategic projects, digital transformation and responsible for large global strategic initiatives.

Typically working at the intersection of technology and business, I have, through my career, moved from a strongly technical bias, to become strongly strategic and business bias.  And I love this type of work!
